At Westquay, we believe everyone should feel confident planning a visit — and comfortable every step of the way.
That’s why we’ve partnered with AccessAble to create a detailed accessibility guide, complete with facts, figures and photographs to help you plan ahead with ease.
Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, you’ll know exactly what to expect.
Changing Places
For guests who need a little extra space or specialist support, our Changing Places facility is located on Level 1.
It includes a wall-mounted bench and hoist, designed with dignity and comfort in mind.
A Radar key is required to access the space — simply speak to a member of our team, or borrow one from the control room if needed.
Shopmobility
We know that ease and independence matter — that’s why Westquay Shopmobility is here to help make every visit more accessible.
Operated by Southampton Voluntary Services, the service is located on Level 0 of the Podium Car Park, with dedicated parking available nearby (standard Podium parking rates apply).
Whether you’re hiring a scooter, powerchair or manual wheelchair, options are available for both members and non-members.

Monday to Friday: 09:15 – 16:00 (last scooter hire at 14:00)
Closed on weekends and Bank Holidays
Hire fees
Annual Membership: £12
Scooter / Powerchair: £6 (member) / £7 (non-member)
Manual wheelchair: £6 (member) / £6.50 (non-member)
