Your visit to Westquay

Whether you’re here for a little retail therapy, dinner with friends or a day out with the family, we want you to feel completely at home at Westquay.

To help keep things safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone, we ask all visitors to follow a few simple guidelines during their time with us.

While you're with us, please:

  • Keep a close eye on any children or adults in your care
  • Treat fellow guests, staff and retailers with respect — we don’t tolerate any intimidating, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour
  • Keep hoods down while inside the centre
  • Take responsibility for your dog and check individual store policies
Use the bins provided — nobody likes a litterbug
  • Walk, don’t run — even if there’s a sale on
  • Leave bikes, rollerblades, scooters and Heelys at home
  • Avoid climbing, sitting or standing on barriers, railings or balustrades
  • Stay off the lifts and escalators — no climbing or surfing
  • Keep tops and footwear on at all times (unless you’re in a changing room)
  • Remove crash helmets before entering the centre
  • Use our designated smoking areas — this includes e-cigarettes and vapes
  • Only enjoy alcohol within licensed restaurants, cafés and bars
  • Respect our guidelines on mobility — electric scooters and similar devices are not permitted unless part of our approved Shopmobility service

A few other things to know:

  • Dogs are welcome at Westquay. You can read our full dog-friendly guidelines [here]
  • Face coverings are recommended throughout the centre
  • Shopping trolleys are only permitted in certain areas
  • Ball games of any kind aren’t allowed — kicking, throwing or otherwise
  • Leafleting, canvassing or surveys are not permitted without written approval from the centre team
  • Selling goods in or around the centre must also be pre-approved
  • Busking is allowed by permission only
  • Photography, filming or sketching requires advance permission from the centre team. This includes professional equipment, building interiors and our staff.
  • Criminal damage or vandalism is illegal — and will be reported to the police
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone whose behaviour may negatively affect other guests, our team or retail partners

Thank you to everyone who helps make Westquay a vibrant, inclusive and inspiring place to visit

We appreciate your support.
