Right in the heart of Southampton, Westquay is one of the South Coast’s easiest destinations to reach – and getting here is just as simple.
Whether you're travelling from across the city, arriving by cruise for the day, or coming in from further afield, you’ve got options. Car, bus, bike or taxi – choose what works for you.
We recommend using Google Maps or Citymapper to find the quickest route on the day, complete with live updates to keep things moving.
Westquay has two centrally located car parks – the Multi-Storey and the Podium – designed to make parking simple, secure and stress-free.
Both offer easy access from Harbour Parade, with clearly marked entrances and direct links to the centre. Just pop SO15 1ST into your sat nav and follow the signs.
Each car park has a different height restriction:
– Multi-Storey Car Park: up to 2.0m
– Podium Car Park: up to 1.9m
Parking payments are card only, with contactless options available at all pay stations. If you lose your ticket, simply press the help button on the machine and a member of the team will assist you.
If you're visiting Southampton as part of a cruise, Westquay is just a short drive or walk from the main terminals – making it one of the easiest spots to explore during your time ashore.
Most cruise terminals are less than 10 minutes away by taxi, with easy access to drop-off points at the centre.
Prefer to walk? Depending on your terminal, it’s around a 15–20 minute walk into the city centre, with signposted pedestrian routes along the way.
Whether you’ve got an hour or an afternoon, Westquay is a great place to shop, eat and experience a taste of Southampton before heading back to your ship.
Need help while you’re here? Just speak to a member of the Westquay team – we’re happy to assist.
